Welcome to the sixths and final part of of my Against The Wind actual play called Isthmus. Uh, let’s say this part is wild. The results of the meaning tables I used and the prompts generated by Against The Wind were like a drug-fueld fever dream. And I had such a good time with it! lol

Welcome to part five of my Against The Wind solo adventure where we follow Arinvar on his journey across the world of Isthmus. I cannot recommend this game enough. Even though I have to admit, that the game intents a more “cheerful” experience than the story I came up with… or at least I have the impression.

Welcome to the fourth continued fight against the wind, the cold and the hostile world of Isthmus! One thing I have to add regarding a note I made one or two posts ago: The story itself is exclusively generated with the tables from the Against The Wind rulebook, I used Mythic to flesh out the deities only.

Welcome to part three of my Isthmus solo adventure of Against The Wind. I really love this game and I can only recommend buying it. Judging be how the book is layouted and illustrated, I think that the intended atmosphere is quite different from what I made of it. Even though I love the illustrations and the overall feeling they transport, I always drift to something sinister, weird and dark. Sorry… I guess?! lol

This is part two of my Against The Wind session summary. I changed a little bit in my setup while playing this second session… in addition to the random tables in the main rulebook, I made use of the amazing “The Weird” book by Monte Cook Games, because I think that those two books correspond quite well.

I recently discovered Against The Wind by Cezar Capacle on my NAS. I wasn’t even sure whether me or my wife bought it in a shopping frenzy. This is one of the biggest problems when you are a hoarder… most the gems remain unread.
